Our department has adopted the following mission in accordance with the framework indicated in the institutional mission of Sirnak University:

Mission of our department; To train Energy Systems Engineers who are respectful to scientific, cultural, moral and ethical values with the qualified education given in the light of universal values; to present information and technology for the benefit of society by producing researches; generating benefits for humanity on the basis of the knowledge and technology it produces with the spirit of entrepreneurship it possesses; To contribute to the development of human capital at national and international level with the awareness of social responsibility it feels.
